Creating Learning Goals

Students work with their Portfolio Coaches to create SMART learning goals throughout their time in medical school.

To create a Learning Goal in Portfolio, a student will need to access the “Learning Goals” panel by clicking on the Learning Goals tab in Portfolio.

This will open the Learning Goals panel.

From here, the student can add a new Learning Goal by clicking the green “Add Learning Goal” button.

Now students can add a new Learning Goal.

 

Students are encouraged to add “SMART” goals.

Goals will appear in a list, and can be sorted by completion status, date, and competency.

Clicking on the title of the goal will take you to the details.  From here, you can change the status, edit the goal, and add comments.
