1. Activity Admin Redesign. The Activity Creation Screen is now has a “wizard” feel: each section is in a different tab, making it easier for Activity Admins to navigate to the section that need to be edited.
2. New Assessment Types: 360 Degree Assessment and Compass Assessment.
a. 360 degree assessments are assessments associated with a course. They are official responses for requested feedback by program admins. Students cannot determine who will provide feedback. (360 degree assessments are formerly known as “Open Assessments.”)
b. Compass assessments are student- or faculty-generated assessments. Although activity admins can invite other users to provide feedback, students have the ability to self-select who, and who not, to send a request to.
3. New Reports Feature. The reports feature allows a subset of Admin users known as “Report Admins” to run global reports on forms, activities, and students. Report Admins can currently run reports by Activity (or set of Activities) or Form over a selected date range.
4. Enhancement: Increase Student Image Size in Assessments. Assessors requested the size of a student’s picture be increased so they can better identify who they are assessing.
5. Bug Fix: Activity Reports Download in CSV format instead of Excel. Changes in Microsoft Excel security caused problems with users being able to download reports. The format was changed from “XLS” to “CSV” to accommodate this change.
