What is Online Grading?

An Internet based programming which is primarily used by course directors, residents, department coordinators, and the registrar’s office to evaluate MD students online and also manage the course information. Each group of user is tailored to the role in the grading process and may or may not have the same access to all of the menus and functions in the system.

Students who work with Faculty and Resident in the sub specialties/sub-rotation will be graded and given comments in the pre-final evaluation form and all of information will be fed to the a course director view for compiling the final evaluation for all students in the course.

Features

  • Add/Update the following informationAttach a pre-defined evaluation forms to each course
    • Course Information (can be imported by using a text file exported from PeopleSoft with the predefined format)
    • All Course evaluators (Course Director, Faculty and resident)
  • Manual student enrollment/upload batch to the course section by using CSV file exported from PeopleSoft
  • Create subspecialties within the course and group of evaluators
  • Assign students to rotation/sub-rotation and subspecialties plus attach Faculty/Residents who work with student in the subspecialties/sub-rotation
  • Online Assessment form utilized by course director, faculty and residents
  • Automated Email Reminders to all evaluators
    • 1st cycle on the next day after the rotation ends
    • Next cycle will be every 14 days until the final grade is completed
  • Export batch of student’s grade as a CSV file to import to the PeopleSoft
