1. VSTAR Learn now has a new UI, based on the “Herald” theme. More information and an explanation of the new interface, including navigational assistance, can be found here.
a. “My Courses” has been moved from the right-hand navigation to the top bar, however, the courses are now also the central focus of the home page.
b. Profile, Calendar, and Log Out are now under a “My Dashboard” link in the top bar.
2. Learn is now not “tied in” to VSTAR but is a separate and distinct application with a similar look and feel.
3. A “Today’s Sessions” link has been added to the top bar. This shows what’s happening in the courses a student is enrolled in today. The data pulls from the courses themselves, provided they are set up in periods format with correct dates.
4. A dynamic category dropdown menu has been added to the front page. Courses can be sorted by category. This remembers user preferences, so they only have to select the category once.
5. Courses are collapsible on the home page. Along with this, the “always on” activity alerts on the student’s home page have been resolved and no longer appear in red.
6. All users can now manage the courses on the home screen. Courses can be hidden and “unhidden” as appropriate to the users’ needs.
