Syncing Spark Learn Calendar for VMS2, VMS3, and VMS4

Introduction

Your school calendar can be easily added to any of your devices. The current system allows for one years’ worth of events to be added to your device.

Windows

  1. Log into Spark Learn. If you are not logged in, you will get an error. Make sure it says your name at the top right of the page!
  2. Click ‘Calendar’ in the top menu
  3. Click the ‘Export Calendar’ button below the calendar
  4. Select ‘All events’ and ‘Custom range’ radio buttons
  5. Click ‘Get calendar URL’. This is important! You don’t want to export the calendar, as this creates a static file that will not update as class times, lecturers, etc. are changed!
  6. Click the URL provided by Spark Learn
  7. Your default calendar application should open. Just click through the dialog boxes to ensure the settings you prefer (this is vague because different calendars have different dialog boxes). Then click ‘Ok’ or ‘Add calendar’ to add it to your client.
