Things to Know When Sending Compass and 360 Notifications

After creating your activity in Portfolio, your Invitees will not be notified until you click the “Send Notifications” button on the final page of the activity. You have the opportunity to customize the message.  Notifications are distributed as follows:

  • If learners is checked, all learners get an email – just “you have been added…” with a custom link
  • If advisors is checked, all advisors get an email – the one you’re showing above with “X of Y students have been assessed.”
  • If invitees is checked, invitees with open invitations (not completed or expired) get an email – the “you have been invited” one standard for invitations.
  • Note that if you are both an advisor and an invitee, you should get two different emails with different text.
