Extract a Video Embedded in a PowerPoint Presentation

If you have ever needed to extract video (or any other media) from PowerPoint there is an amazing and easy way to do just that. This only works on files with a .pptx extension (PowerPoint 2007/2010). You must be able to see the extension of the file in order to do this. Replace the .pptx to .zip in the file name. Windows will complain when you do this but go ahead. Open the .zip file and look inside. You can now unzip packaged files and videos including media jpegs, pngs, and most importantly any embedded videos will now be completely available. They can be copied and moved out of the file with no hassle. By the way, rename your PowerPoint file with the correct .pptx extension and it is back to its original form and works perfectly.
