QuizTime Release Version 1.0

This release includes many features you have requested recently including On-demand courses, Adaptive learning, Space repetition, Multiple select and Likert scale question type, non-VUMC users can use QuizTime with their own email id and QuizTime Academy (searchable catalog of on-demand and instructor led courses). 1. Non-VUMC users can register and use QuizTime as learners or as educators.

2. QuizTime Academy – This new feature allows users to create Instructor Led or On-demand courses. For on demand courses, user has ability to add adaptive scheduling for the questions.
Key features–
For an Educator:
a. Create a new course with title and course description.
b. Add categories to group your courses for easier search.
c. Add learning objectives to describe target students and pre-requisites if any and what will your learner achieve after completion of this course.
d. Credit Information – Enter credits (if any) a student will earn after completing your course
e. Enter details about your course syllabus
f. Attach any handouts/files you want to share with your learners.
g. Schedule your course
i. For On demand –
1. Enter start and end dates and delivery frequency for each question.
2. Turn on/off adaptive scheduling – This feature allows learner to receive questions with incorrect answer again.
ii. For Instructor led –
1. Enter start and end dates and define question delivery time for your learners
h. Add co-owners and course directors for your course.
i. Invite learners to your course – you can send request to learners’ email to join your course.
j. Add activities for your course – you can add new quizzes and announcements for your course.
i. For Instructor led course you can schedule delivery of each question at a specific time.
ii. For On demand courses, you don’t schedule delivery time as learner chooses when he/she wants to receive the question based on the frequency defined by you.
k. Publish and view your course. You can view course as it will look to the learner.

For a Learner:
i. You can view list of courses available for you to take.
ii. You can view course details, like course name, course description, date/time when it is available, course director, number of questions, number of learners, time to complete, and course type.
iii. Search a specific course by tags, course title or course directors.
iv. Filter course list by categories, course types or status.
v. You can enroll in a specific course. As a learner you can choose delivery method of email or cell phone for your questions. For on demand courses – you can choose delivery time for your questions.

3. Learner Management – This feature allows an educator to view detailed information about progress for each learner for a specific course.
a. View key metrics on numbers of learners, number of questions, questions completed and errors (if any).
b. Search any learner
c. For each learner you can view their name, contact information, enrolled date (applicable for on demand courses), and results (Correct answers, incorrect answers, unanswered)

4. Administration Management (Admin)
a. Admin can view all courses in the system
b. Admin can deactivate or activate any user account
c. Admin can login as other user to help troubleshoot issues (if any).
